And yet, we're weighed down by devastating inequalities, by a huge population that remains untouched by well- meaning acts like the Right to Education, and a large gender inequality. At Agaram, we want to make a difference in the lives of the millions who are not yet touched by education.

Our Key Initiatives
Vidhai
Vidhai supports first-generation learners from marginalized communities to access higher education. Through financial assistance, mentoring, and continuous guidance, the program helps students overcome socio-economic barriers. It focuses on nurturing talent and ambition, especially among rural youth. By investing in education, Vidhai builds pathways for sustainable development. Many graduates go on to uplift their families and inspire others.
Agaram Mentorship
The Agaram Mentorship program connects students with dedicated mentors who guide them through academic, personal, and career challenges. Mentors provide regular support, motivation, and exposure to real-world opportunities. The goal is to develop well-rounded individuals who are confident and informed. This bond fosters emotional strength and social awareness. Over time, many mentees evolve into mentors themselves.
Agaram Hostels
Agaram Hostels offer a secure and inclusive space for students from rural areas pursuing education in urban centers. These hostels provide not only shelter but also nutritious meals, academic support, and emotional safety. The program addresses challenges of city life and cultural shift. Students thrive in a supportive community of peers. It ensures they focus fully on their studies without distractions.
Namadhu Palli
Namadhu Palli aims to transform government schools by enhancing infrastructure, teaching quality, and student engagement. It brings modern tools, improved sanitation, and learning materials to underserved schools. The initiative works closely with teachers and communities to create impactful changes. Emphasis is placed on joyful, interactive learning. The program helps students dream big in a vibrant school environment.
Thai & Namadhu Gramam
Thai & Namadhu Gramam focuses on holistic rural development with a special emphasis on women and children. It empowers communities through education, healthcare, and livelihood programs. Women are encouraged to lead and participate in decision-making. Children receive the care and resources they need to thrive. The initiative fosters inclusive and sustainable village development rooted in dignity.
Sivakumar Educational Trust
The Sivakumar Educational Trust, inspired by actor Sivakumar’s vision, supports education through scholarships and special initiatives. It recognizes academic talent and helps bridge financial gaps for deserving students. The trust works in collaboration with institutions to reach a wider impact. It promotes values of discipline, service, and excellence. Thousands of students have benefited and built meaningful careers.
